Gauge:
2 spaces = 1 inch and 2 rows = 1 inch when block
Each square measure about 19.5 inches before blocking and about 20.5 inches after blocking.
Completed tablecloth measures about 63 x 104 inches
Square:
Starting at center, ch 11, join with sl st.
Rnd 1: Ch 4 (to count as tr), 4 tr in ring, (ch 7, 5 tr in ring) 3 times; ch 7, join with sl st to 4th st of ch-4.
Rnd 2: Ch 4, 4 tr, * 4 tr in corner sp (space), ch 7, 4 tr in same corner sp, tr in next 5 tr. Repeat from * around. Join.
Rnd 3: Ch 4, tr in 8 tr, * 4 tr in corner sp, ch 7, 4 tr in same corner sp, tr in next 13 tr. Repeat from * around. Join.
Rnd 4: Ch 7, * skip 3 tr, tr in next 9 tr, 4 tr in next sp, ch 7, 4 tr in next 9 tr, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to 4th st of ch-7.
Rnd 5: Ch 4, * 3 tr in next sp, tr in next tr, ch 3, skip 3 tr, tr in next 9 tr, 4 tr in next sp, ch 7, 4 tr in same sp, tr in 9 tr, ch 3, skip 3 tr, tr in next tr. Repeat from * around. Join.
Rnd 6 - 20: Work in this manner, following chart, making ch-3 for spaces and ch-7 for each corner sp, and joining each rnd with a sl t. The heavy line on the chart shows where each rnd begins. At the end of the 20th rnd, join and fasten off.
Make 15 squares to arrange 3 x 5 and sew together on wrong side with neat over-and-over sts.
Edging:
Attach threat at outer edge and work a row of spaces all around cloth, turning corners as before. Join. Then work one round of tr's all around, gauging sts to keep work flat and turning corners as before. Join.
Next Rnd: Tr in each tr around, turning corners as before. Join and fasten off.
